21 November 2017 - Royal Thai Navy host the 1st
ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise. 9 ASEAN Navies 14 ships will join the event
(except Laos). The theme of this naval exercise will be coincided with the main
theme from the 11th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting ‘Protection and preservation of
the marine environment’. The result of this naval exercise will allow ASEAN Navy
to operate together in terms of resources and peace protection in regional

HTMS Naresuan (FFG-421) & HTMS Taksin (FFG-422) - CARAT - Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Thailand 2018
GULF OF THAILAND (June 18, 2018) - USS Mustin (DDG 89) steams ahead of HTMS Naresuan (FFG 421), HTMS Bangpakong (FFG 456) and HTMS Taksin (FFG 422) during a live-fire gunnery exercise in support of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2018. The Multilateral (CARAT) exercise, in its 2nd iteration and involving the U.S., Singapore and Thailand, is designed to enhance mutual capabilities in a broad spectrum of naval warfare that enable partner navies to operate effectively together as a unified maritime force.
